“One Man’s Vision” follows Ralph Teetor, an American visionary who, despite losing his sight at age five, becomes a trailblazer in automotive history. Raised in an 1890’s gas lit village, Ralph astounds the world with his early innovations, building a motor car at age twelve and balancing turbine rotors for the US Navy during WWI. His boundless enthusiasm and passion for innovation drives him to remarkable heights, including of what later would be known as Cruise Control.
The heart of the story lies in Ralph’s pursuit of a spirited schoolteacher, whose love and acceptance drives him to new triumphs. Their unique relationship explores themes of love, resilience, and the human capacity to overcome adversity.
As Ralph advances his technology and manages his family’s legacy, he faces industry turmoil and stands his ground against the powerful UAW-CIO union during a perilous time in 1955.
This powerful film celebrates the triumph of the human spirit, the pursuit of innovation, and the enduring legacy of a true American pioneer, all driven by the transformative power of love.
”"I only wish I could see with two good eyes as Ralph Teetor does with none!"
